Innovation for better planning

For a year, our Polish branch has been working with the “Methods for optimizing routes, deliveries and stocks in the fuel supply network” research program at the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) in Warsaw.

Its aim: to develop a set of optimization algorithms for observing the progress of our fuel deliveries to service stations.

With the help of our Polish collaborators, the NCBR scientific team was able to draw up a clear assessment.

Thanks to their results, published at the CLC (Logistic and Supply Chain Management) Congress in November 2023, our subsidiary has been able to resolve planning issues, reduce delivery and distribution costs, and cut fuel and CO2 consumption.

As a result, Samat Polska is able to plan volumes more easily and forecast delivery dates more accurately.
